The Four Phases

Phase 1
Before the Trade
Should I even participate? Read the environment and the stock's quality first. If nothing is happening, walk away. Great setups are obvious.
Phase 2
Before I Click Buy
The defensive checklist. Don't fight the trend, don't chase, don't trade out of boredom. If you can't take a small loss here, don't enter.
Phase 3
While in the Trade
Trade like a defender, not an attacker. Slow and steady, greed in check, plan the trade and trade the plan. Rules over gut, gut over hope.
Phase 4
Protect the Day
Where traders win or lose. Stay green and grateful, never lose more than your average winning day, and walk the moment you start to spiral.
